Support Engineer – Corporate

Accordent Technologies is looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to work within Accordent’s Customer Support Organization supporting customers, partners and resellers. The Technical Support Engineer will be interacting with customer and partner account managers, technical personnel or level I and II support personnel, to handle RMA’s, resolve product related issues, support upgrade requirements and manage complex issues in conjunction with Accordent Development, Engineering and Professional Services personnel. Key requirements include strong core administration and communication skills to ensure successful interactions with customers and partners in a professional and consultative fashion; sufficient technical acumen to develop a deep and comprehensive knowledge of Accordent products and services; ability to understand and incorporate a customer or partner’s associated supporting infrastructure, operations and rich media solutions; and work independently or as a team member in a dynamic environment on investigations, issues, and problems from inception through completion and successful resolution.

Responsibilities include management of support calls and ticket submissions; investigation, research and potential replication of issues or problems; determination of root cause and association of issues to Accordent products or services; management of customer and partner Service Level Agreement expectations; resolution and documentation of product related issues; work with Accordent’s support systems and services, as well as educate customers and partners on how to access and use Accordent’s customer facing support solutions; and, provide upgrade support for Accordent products.

Candidate qualifications include a Bachelor degree or equivalent experience, minimum of 3-4 years in a customer-facing technical support or consulting role (preferably supporting fortune 1000 customers); experience working with and supporting 3-Tier Enterprise-Class software solutions (preferably with Microsoft software solutions and technologies); and strong technical, analytical, and problem solving skills, along with the ability and commitment to successfully communicate and manage Accordent customer and partner constituencies.

Experience with e-learning, webcasting or streaming technologies is a significant plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite is expected.

Territory Manager

Accordent Technologies is looking for a Territory Manager with demonstrated success in inside sales of Enterprise Software products to focus on expanding sales of our enterprise rich media webcasting and communications products within Corporate, Education and Government markets.

This position will focus on reinforcing Accordent distribution partners and vertical sales representatives within the assigned territory via prospecting, lead follow-up and qualification and demonstrating Accordent products. This is a sales position with closing responsibility and quota objectives over a large territory in the continental USA.

Candidates must have at least two years Enterprise Software sales experience and a high level of phone energy. This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to respond to incoming sales leads and the ability to effectively demonstrate Accordent products remotely.

Knowledge of NetSuite or similar CRM and experience with interactive conferencing tools - such as WebEx - are a plus. BS, BA or equivalent work experience required.

Senior Account Manager

Accordent Technologies is looking for a top-quality Senior Account Manager with experience in Enterprise Software field sales to develop large territory in the continental USA.

Responsibilities include developing and executing sales plan for Accordent's rich media webcasting and communications products within the Corporate, Education and Government vertical markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for direct strategic selling to Global 5000 companies and organizations as well as assisting Accordent's national network of distribution partners within the assigned territory to reach and exceed quota objectives.

Candidates must have at least seven years of Enterprise Software sales experience and demonstrated quota achievement. Must be self-starter with strong passion to sell and succeed who is willing to travel up to 50% of time.

Senior C# Windows Developer

Accordent Technologies is seeking a Windows Developer to join our rapidly expanding Development team. We are looking for a highly motivated, creative person who has a track record of being an effective team member in a fast-paced environment developing complex software applications.

The candidate will work individually, and as a team member with other developers, to build new applications, develop enhancements, and help support the development and integration of our market leading products.

Candidate must have least two years C# experience and at least six years combined C# and C++ experience with a strong background in Windows application programming including familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003/2005. Strong experience in debugging fundamentals, MS SQL Server, SQL stored procedures, cursors, etc. also required.

User Interface Developer

Accordent Technologies seeks an experienced UI developer to work closely with the UI Development team. Click here to take a look at an Accordent interface. Sales Engineer (Southwest Region)

Accordent Technologies is looking for a top quality Sales Engineer in its rapidly growing southwest territory. The Sales Engineer will play a key role in efforts to expand sales growth in Accordent's 3 primary markets-Enterprise, Education and Government. Candidates must be self starters who can work with minimal supervision and have a perfect blend of technical expertise with consultative sales skills.

The Sales Engineer will be working with Accordent's Business Development Executives and reseller sales reps to identify and qualify opportunities, perform software demonstrations both virtually and in person for prospects, manage technical questions and responses, define and scope custom development and integration work and provide some front line technical support to customers and prospects. The Sales Engineer will also be responsible for growing and maintaining relationships with Accordent's Western U.S. resellers and will often provide support and onsite training of Accordent software for resellers.

This is a high visibility, high growth opportunity for the right person to get in on the ground floor of a growing office for a well-funded and profitable company. Expect travel between 30% and 50% (Southwestern states primarily) including site visits to clients, prospects and resellers as well as attendance at trade shows.

The right candidate should be comfortable interacting with and presenting to engineers, as well as supporting high level business discussions with decision makers. The ideal candidate will have broad technical knowledge and preferably experience with communications and broadcasting technologies such as web casting, web conferencing, video conferencing, film and television production, content delivery networks, content management systems and front-end web development.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, systems engineering or sales engineering or other applicable roles.
  • Some knowledge of streaming/digital media technology (encoding software, capture hardware, file formats, delivery infrastructure) and knowledge of network security and firewalls, network architectures and network protocols such as HTTP, RTSP, UDP,TCP/IP FTP, Windows Server 2000/2003, Windows Media Services 9, Real Helix Server, MPEG 1/2/4, LDAP/Active Directory.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship and time management with excellent interpersonal skills, consultative selling experience, interest in business development and focus on customer service.
  • Knowledge or experience with Content Management and Systems, Learning Management Systems.
  • Thrives in small company environment.
